Following the two previous successful festivals with top competitors from Greece and abroad, the classical guitar and ensemble competition will be held this year during the “All That Guitar Festival”. Prizes will reach the amount of 8,000 €! Believing that music must be joy as well as learning, we will try to inspire the principles of noble competition so that the contest will not only be a means of publicity, but an important tool for self-awareness and motivation for personal development of all participants.

The competition will take place on Sunday, 14th July 2019 and is divided into four categories
SOLO CLASSICAL GUITAR
1st CATEGORY: UP TO 13 YEARS
Applicants born after July 2006 are eligible to participate. Free choice program up to 6 minutes.
2nd CATEGORY: UP TO 16 YEARS
Applicants born after July 2003 are eligible to participate. Free choice program up to 10 minutes.
3rd CATEGORY: NO AGE LIMIT
Free choice program up to 15 minutes. The music program might consist of one or more parts of different musical periods.
CHAMBER MUSIC
4th CATEGORY: ENSEMBLES
Chamber music ensembles with guitar(s) and other instruments are eligible to participate. Free choice program up to 10 minutes.

PROCEDURE
The jury will consist of guitarists of high repute. The decision of the jury concerning the results of each category will be final and irrevocable. The evaluation of the contestants will be determined not only by the execution of the musical program, but also by the overall performance and presence on stage (clothing, program presentation, etc.). The results will be announced after the final recital of the festival. It is compulsory that all contestants be present during the prize-award ceremony.
